TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Registration
- Eligibility: The course is open to licensed massage therapists or those in the process of becoming licensed. Proof of eligibility may be required at registration.
- Registration Deadline: All registrations must be submitted at least [1] days prior to the start date of the class to ensure space availability.
- Payment: Full payment must be received at the time of registration. If paying via installment or payment plan, all balances must be cleared before the first class session.
- Confirmation: Upon successful registration and payment, participants will receive a confirmation email with further details about the course.
2. Course Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation by Participant: If a participant needs to cancel their registration, they must notify the instructor or course provider in writing at least [3] days prior to the start of the course to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within [2] days of the course are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- No Show: Failure to attend without prior cancellation will result in the forfeiture of the registration fee.
- Cancellation by Provider: If the course is canceled by the provider due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified at least [1] days in advance and will receive a full refund.
- Transfer Policy: Transfers to another session may be allowed, subject to availability, if requested at least [2] days in advance.
3. Course Content and Materials
- Materials Provided: Course materials such as handouts, books, or other resources will be provided either in print or digitally at the discretion of the instructor.
- Course Format: Participants agree to engage in all aspects of the course, including lectures, hands-on practice, and any required assessments or evaluations.
- Content Ownership: All course content, materials, and resources are the intellectual property of the instructor or course provider and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without express permission.
4. Attendance
- Attendance Requirements: Participants are expected to attend all in-person sessions. Missing more than [10]% of the course may result in disqualification from receiving certification.
- Late Arrivals/Early Departures: Late arrivals or early departures may result in missed content and may impact eligibility for course completion or certification.
5. Health and Safety
- Health Considerations: Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in the course. Any health concerns or restrictions should be disclosed prior to registration.
- Covid-19 and Health Protocols: Participants must comply with any health and safety protocols in place, including wearing masks, maintaining social distance, or providing proof of vaccination, if applicable.
6. Certification
- Certification Requirements: Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. To qualify for certification, participants must meet the attendance requirements and successfully complete all course requirements.
- Continuing Education Credits: The course may provide continuing education credits recognized by relevant professional organizations. Participants are responsible for confirming credit acceptance with their licensing board or certifying organization.
7. Liability
- Liability Waiver: By attending the course, participants agree to release the instructor and course provider from any liability for injuries or damages sustained during the course.
- Assumption of Risk: Participants acknowledge and assume the risks inherent in participating in hands-on massage training, including but not limited to physical strain or discomfort.
8. Code of Conduct
- Professional Behavior: All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or any actions that negatively impact the learning environment may result in removal from the course without refund.
- Confidentiality: Any personal or professional information shared during the course should be kept confidential, in line with professional ethics in the massage therapy field.
9. Miscellaneous
- Amendments: The instructor or course provider reserves the right to update or change these terms and conditions as necessary. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.
- Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of [State/Country].
